Central States Trucking Expands Operation with Purchase of Transportation Holding Companies Minneapolis, MN and Detroit, MI Divisions previously operated as Agents for TRX Trucking.

Bensenville, IL - May 24th, 2013 - Central States Trucking (CST), founded in 1980, and currently one of the fastest growing trucking companies in the Midwest, has acquired THC’s Minneapolis and Detroit Divisions. The acquisition will result in a substantial increase to CST’s existing infrastructure in those locations.

All of the management, office staff, and drivers of THC in those locations will transition to Central States Trucking and they will continue to provide the same high level of service to the Minnesota and Michigan shippers and receivers as they have done since 2003. CST expects to double its driver base in both locations in the coming months due to the new business brought on by this transaction.

The transaction will provide a platform for CST to expand upon their multi-modal service format which includes Intermodal Drayage, CFS Warehouse, Linehaul and Contract Dedicated Services.
