Milwaukee, WI - April 18. 2011 - Central States Trucking (CST), founded in 1980 in Chicago and Ace World Wide (Ace) of Milwaukee, founded in 1946, has reached agreement on a transportation and logistics service partnership that will enable each company to leverage its strengths to improve service and efficiency for its customers.

The transaction will provide a platform for CST to expand upon their multi-modal service format which includes Intermodal Drayage, CFS Warehouse, Linehaul and Contract Dedicated Services. The deal will allow Ace to harness resources and accentuate its High Performance 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations: Warehousing/Fulfillment, Crating and Packaging and Special Products Transportation.

Many of the Ace management, office staff, and drivers of its Intermodal division in Wisconsin will become employees of Central States Trucking and they will continue to provide the same high level of service to Wisconsin shippers and receivers as they have done since the early 1980's. In addition, CST expects to increase its driver base in Wisconsin in the coming months due to the new business brought on by this acquisition.

"CST offers an outstanding 30-year service track record that multi-modal customers in Illinois and Wisconsin have responded to," said Jason Steiner, CEO of the Ace Group of Companies. Steiner went on to say that he expects the partnership to open new doors for Ace in the Chicagoland area for its diversified logistics operations. "It broadens our geographic reach and allows us to focus on the 3PL services we excel at providing" Steiner said.

In all, the Intermodal division represents less than 5% of the Ace World Group's total revenue in 2010.
